Privacy policy
Last updated: November 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This explains what EZMeet collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Organizers: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) or Google sign-in, and language preference.
- Participants: the details the organizer adds (name, and optionally phone and email), their availability and place answers, and notes they write.
- Telegram: for people who connect to the bot, their chat ID and username so the bot can message them, and the messages they send it.
- Contact form: the name, email and message you send.
- Cookies: a login cookie and a language cookie only. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run the service: coordinating events, sending invites, reminders and updates, and verifying email addresses. We don’t sell data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Anthropic (Claude): free-text messages participants send the bot are analyzed to understand availability.
- Telegram: the bot’s messages go through Telegram.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: the security check on the contact form that confirms a person, not a bot, is sending it.
- The organizer: sees participants’ answers and notes for their own event.
Where it’s stored and for how long
Data is stored on our server in Europe for as long as the account or event exists. Deleting an event deletes its participants and their answers.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete information about you through the contact form. Organizers can delete events and contacts themselves.
